The Commentary section comprises the Ten Wings (Shi Yi), which were created by Confucius and his disciples. The term &#8216;Ten Wings&#8217; is a metaphor, meaning &#8216;ten wings&#8217;\u2014an inherently aesthetic and vivid image symbolizing how these commentaries enhance and elevate the Classic. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">So, what are the Ten Wings? Added by Confucius and his disciples, they include: <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Tuan Zhuan (Commentary on the Decisions), Upper and Lower <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Xi Ci Zhuan (The Great Treatise), Upper and Lower <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Xiang Zhuan (Commentary on the Images), Upper and Lower <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Wen Yan Zhuan (Commentary on the Words of the Text) <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Shuo Gua Zhuan (Discussion of the Trigrams) <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Xu Gua Zhuan (Sequence of the Hexagrams) <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8211; Za Gua Zhuan (Miscellaneous Notes on the Hexagrams) <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Together, these ten commentaries form the complete structure of the <i>I Ching<\/i> . By understanding this framework, this model, and this knowledge system, we gain a clearer perspective. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Moving forward, we will delve deeper into this structure.
