Biomolecular condensates, unlike the “Bose-Einstein condensate” in physics, are an emerging concept in biology. A review of middle school biology reveals that cell structures include the cell membrane and various organelles, with the formation of organelles previously thought to be the function of ribosomes. However, the origin of ribosomes has long been a mystery. It wasn’t until around 2009 that the scientific community clarified that ribosomes are assembled from the “nucleolus” within the cell nucleus.
